Due to the continued expansion of our development teams we are looking for additional Software Engineering Managers who are responsible for the line management of up to 15 software engineers within our software engineering practice. Through coaching and an empathetic leadership style you will develop high performing engineering talent. Within our software practice you will nurture its growth and continuous improvement by encouraging participation, facilitating practice days, training, recruiting new engineers and growing the discipline, whilst guiding our engineers to become the best they can be, through structured development plans.
Ideal candidates will have a background in software engineering and practical experience of modern software development tools and methodologies. We would expect a strong development background in an agile environment. Hands-on experience in coaching and developing both individuals and teams is core to success in role.
As our main programming language is C++ experience in this language is clearly a major plus!
